idk, i dont want to critique tender's suggestion *hints at rest of people in this thread*, but i think that normal dungeon drops from such an easy dungeon might be a bit much, since a 2 person team with 5 barragers and 1 weapon spell rit can clear it in HM in about 3 minutes. still, i wouldnt mind having a small chance to get that polar bear :P
still, i have to go with /notsigned

You shouldnt just run into a group of monsters. Take one by one and you should be able to do it in 11-13 mins.
Also the drops are bad because the dungeon is so easy.

A dungeon that can be completed in less than ten minutes, consistently, and with minimal effort, shouldn't give out decent rewards. Even Candy Canes are a bit too high class for that nonsense.

I agree with the others that say dungeon rewards should reflect the difficulty of the dungeon, and so in that sense the rewards are fine how they are.
But in that sense, Vloxen Excavations should give more faction points in hard mode, where it goes from being a normal quest, run of the mill dungeon, into being one of the hardest dungeons in the game (I found Shards of Orr and Frostmaw's both to be considerably easier than this dugeon, both of which are master's quest dungeons).
It currently gives 2250 points, whereas master's quest dungeons, which are easier and less time consuming, give 4500.
Then again, I should also be able to argue that dungeon difficulty should match the quest difficulty. Secret Lair of the Snowmen is in no way a master's quest dungeon. And, in a similar vein of thought, Vloxen Excavations, being a normal quest dungeon, should not be harder than the master's quest dungeons, especially when it is at the point of being one of the hardest dungeons (in hard mode). That's pretty rediculous, all things considered.

Well lets see, by looking at your 10-15 threads in here saying 'make this or that easier' ... i'd say you fail at PvE.

considering that my mainly played character is a Ranger, I find the dungeon very easy. (Only annoying thing was the traps... on the first time.)
I just buffed up everyone with fire weapons that I had + Greater conflagration and 2 eles. It was a cakewalk in the end in in HM.
(though to my other character - an assassin 25xSnowBall doesn't look fair XD )

/notsigned, but not for the reasons everyone else has posted/flamed.
I think the rewards should match the dungeon. This dungeon is a cute homage to Wintersday, so it's appropiate that the rewards are wintersday items. If the chest is changed then change it to match the theme.
Add Candy Cane Weapons (rare drops)
Add a Mini Polar Bear (super super super rare drop, same odds as Strength of Snow quest)
add unopened Wintersday gifts.
The rewards really aren't that bad for this dungeon. You can get spiked eggnog here and it's the only place that's available outside of Wintersday. You also get a boatload of Delver points towards the title.

This dungeon is extremely easy and i believe the rewards are fitting for the difficulty of the dungeon. If your entire party was on 60% dp you really need to get better at the game.

4 peppermint candy canes would be nice. Other than that, the dungeon's real purpose is to farm Deldirmor points. I mean, its the easiest way in the game to do so. Just go with what you have.

The dungeon is a Wintersday dungeon so the rewards fit.
I do like the suggestion of adding wintersday weapons and especially the polar bear mini.

Yes some Wintersday items are fine but why not at least a good purple or bad gold? Purple because it doesn't add to your Wisdom title, since it's the snowman lair, and a bad gold because it adds to the title but no one would use it. Tomes and shards/gems probably don't need to drop in here but since it's hard mode I think a better reward would be in order than Wintersday stuff.

I would sign this idea if the purple and gold weapons were ONLY wintersday max weapons! Not normal skin weapons!

I would sign that Fish. As for the OP, sorry tender I tend to agree this is an easy dungeon. I am not saying your playing ability is bad but perhaps you should try another build. There are several good ones to be found.
Practice more in NM if you need to.
(Oh and Fish, I like the new avatar)

It's not meant for the reward from chest, it's the best place to farm dwarf reputation.

Lol, no. Anyone else?
OP: I've never even touched the Snowman Dungeon yet, because I've heard how little reward it's worth, and I just haven't bothered to go through it. The point of it is Wintersday, and that's how it should stay.

I'd sign something like that, except I wouldn't even give them mods. I'd just let them give the chance of being maxed, with the proper requirements, of course.

Put the Mini Polar Bear in the end chest. Mini Pets like the Panda are bad for the game, tbh.

I do like the idea of the candy cane/wintergreen weapons and the mini polar bear in the end chest (rare chances of course). That would help.
Also, I thought of another idea for a way to clear this - what about Daze or Disease? Would that be effective? *goes to try*

Try it. They die. Blowing them up is better than spreading conditions, and faster, too.
